How many leaders does it take to change the world?

The Institute for Leadership Advancement was founded in 2001 with a vision: more than anything, our world needs great leaders — men and women who know themselves, who know their values, and who are not afraid to stand up and lean in to the most ambiguous and complicated problems our world is facing. We need leaders who aren’t satisfied with “good enough,” “maybe later,” or “it’s not worth it.” We need leaders who embrace their values, leaders who push themselves to create impact that will long outlive them. Our world needs people to lead. We need values-based, impact-driven leaders.

Since our beginning, the Institute for Leadership Advancement has developed 995 of these men and women — 995 leaders. As you read stories from the 995, ask yourself a question:

How many leaders does it really take to change the world?

995 leaders is a great start, but this is just the beginning. Welcome to The 995. Let’s celebrate.
